Southbroom Area – KwaZulu Natal: Our client is looking for a Workshop Manager/Mechanic to join the team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily planning, organization, supervision and administration of all workshops related activities across the banana and macadamia farming operations

Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Qualified Diesel Mechanic
• At least 5 years previous workshop experience
• Experience with Landini farm implements
• Previous Boiler making experience advantageous
• Previous on farm experience
• Proven experience working and repairing all farm related implements, including bakkies and tractors
• Ability to work with and motivate a team
• Effective verbal and communication skills
• Valid drivers license

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Planning of services and maintenance of a diverse range of vehicles and farm equipment.
• Refurbishment of farm equipment.
• Management of spare parts and tools.
• Maintaining detailed service records.
