MINING, MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR – FM1675

Bronkhorstspruit Area – Gauteng: Our client is looking for a Mining, Maintenance Supervisor to join the team.

Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a farm manager.
Experience in sand farming/mining will be an advantage.
Operator experience required.
Certificates for TLB, Tractor, Excavator, Bobcat Skid Steer will be an advantage.
Diesel mechanic experience will be an advantage
Handy-man skills is a must
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid Code 10 or Code 11 License required: Code 14 preferred.
Must have a valid PDP.
Must be well-spoken, proven leadership skills

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Must be willing to relocate to the farm and live there permanently to act as farm manager and groundskeeper.
Handling the marketing and sale of sand products produced on the farm, supervising & coordinating mining operations.
Ensuring all staff adheres to health and safety regulations.
Must be able to operate machinery such as a TLB, tipper truck, tractor, etc.
Must be a good manager and able to work well in a team environment.
Should be able & willing to do minor repairs on buildings, fences, etc.
Assist with managing and maintaining farm capex, scheduling repairs, maintenance, and replacement of equipment and machinery.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Must be able to process product orders & coordinate deliveries to meet communicated deadlines.
