Swakopmund Area – Namibia: Our client is looking for a Marketing and Sales Representative to join the team.

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the fresh produce or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of fresh produce and seasonal variations.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Proficiency in using sales software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Sales and Customer Relationships
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products.
  • Negotiate sales contracts, suggest promotions, and close deals.
  • Visit customers as often as possible to ensure customer satisfaction, discuss order quantities, packaging, and feedback to ensure repeat business.
  • Distributing/communicating weekly price lists to customers.
  • Internal Communication & Sales Administration
  • Ongoing communication with the Packhouse team and Supply Chain
  • Supervisor to manage stock availability to customers.
  • Loading of sales orders, according to accurate to prices and inventory codes. – Accounting software.
  • Processing of customer invoices according to orders delivered. – Accounting software.
  • NAB related queries and communication.
  • Market Development
  • Identify new market opportunities and potential clients.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market reach.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.

 Product Knowledge and Promotion

  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our product range and their benefits.
  • Educate customers on product features, benefits, and availability.
  • Participate in promotional activities, trade shows, and events to promote our products.
  • Sales Reporting
  • Track and report on sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends.
  • Prepare and present sales reports to management.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets
