MAINTENANCE MANAGER – FM1804

Cradock Area – Eastern Cape: Our client is looking for a Maintenance Manager to join the team.

Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Agricultural Diploma / Degree advantageous
  • Min of 4 years practical experience in this field
  • farming background an advantage.
  • Must be able to communicate in English or Afrikaans with
  • Ability to speak IsiXhosa an advantage.
  • Min of Code 8 driver’s license.
  • Electrical understanding and maintenance (12V and 220V) will be advantageous.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Maintain and repair the necessary equipment for the functioning of the business, this will include, but not limited to:
  • Power production,
  • Agrico and Centre 360 pivots and related pumps,
  • 66 Delaval and Rockwood Rotary as well as a 36 Delaval Swing over (2 of),
  • Tractors, trailers and equipment related to irrigation farming.
  • Major services and repairs will be out sourced to relevant professional service providers with candidate managing the process.
  • Maintenance of Farm buildings and houses will also be responsibility of candidate.
  • Managing stock levels and parts, together with managing staff that are required for related job in a productive, safe and effective manner.
