Krakeelriver/ Joubertina Area, Langkloof – Eastern Cape: Our client is looking for a candidate with ownership mentality and who is willing to start at the bottom and work their way up.

Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Matric
• Agricultural Diploma / Degree advantageous
• Previous farming experience with livestock essential
• Knowledge of irrigation essential
• A person who can think on their feet and can independently make a plan
• Willingness to learn
• Strong communications skills
• must have self-confidence and be able to work with people.
• Punctuality and good management are of utmost importance
• Ability to motivate and work with staff
• Maintenance orientated advantageous
• Must be willing to work shifts
• Valid driver’s license

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Full responsibility for broilers pigs and sheep farming.
• On the fruit side, take control of the irrigation and fertilization.
• This includes collecting all data and working out feed turnover and the management of good practices with regard to chicken farming.
• The chickens will be his main focus for the whole year.
• Irrigation and fertilization are seasonal but must also be managed well and correctly.
• In season, water is regularly pumped at weekends and the manager is expected to do this and take care.
