Marble Hall/Groblersdal area – Limpopo: Our agricultural client has a vacancy for a financial/administrative manager that can lead a team that is responsible for all administrative and financial duties at our farming and packing operations. The incumbent will report to the general manager.


  • Matric with a relevant financial tertiary qualification, i.e. Bachelor’s degree with accounting, or related
    • Computer literate and highly proficient with MS packages, especially Excel
    • General accounting experience up to trial balance
    • Strong administrative and management skills
    • Attention to detail and accuracy
    • Good communication skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navhighly advantageous

  • Financial management
  • Creditors: approval of GL allocations, vendor ageing balance to statements, vendor recons, payment requisitions
  • Debtors: Invoicing of local citrus sales, invoices of third-party lease agreements, reconciliation of local citrus to hawkers, cash sales and juicing plant.
  • Checking of vendor ageing balance to statements, including vendor recons
  • Cost calculations and management
  • Preparation and management of budgets
  • Payment requisitions submitted weekly to H/O by deadline
  • Weekly payment priority lists to H/O and documents submitted by deadline
  • Petty Cash reconciliation
  • Oversee wage and HR administration
  • Inventory management, administration and reporting
  • Asset management administration
  • General admin and office administration
  • Management of administrative staff
    • General administration of, for example, fuel issue / consumption, insurance
    • Any related ad hoc duty that might be required of you from time to time
    • Administration and management of special projects
