The Farm/Reserve Manager will oversee the efficient management of the reserve’s infrastructure and operational activities while ensuring prompt service delivery to all internal stakeholders.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 5 or more years of experience in reserve or farm management with a hospitality component will be prioritised.
- Wildlife reserve management.
- Relevant artisanal skills/qualifications (e.g., electrical, mechanical, diesel, boiler making, building).
- Coordination and collaboration with onsite hospitality entities (e.g., lodges, guesthouses, restaurants).
- Basic computer literacy (MS Word, Excel).
- Budget planning and overall management.
- Must be hardworking, self-driven, professional, disciplined, and oriented towards both people and nature.
- Valid driver’s license
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Maintenance of fencing, roads, power generators, water supply and general infrastructure.
- Fire control management.
- Business planning and controls.
