Dalton Area – KwaZulu Natal: Our client seeks to employ a Farm Manager with the necessary experience to manage all aspects of the farm operation.

Only candidate with the relevant experience will be considered.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Agricultural Degree/Diploma advantageous
• 2 years’ experience in sugar cane or crop farm management
• Knowledge on sugar cane farming (courses in sugar cane advantageous)
• Computer literate
• Strong management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Maintenance orientated
• Able to speak Zulu
• Valid driver’s licence

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Manage all aspects of the farm operation – mainly sugar cane
• Checking up on work and supervising labour
• Driving of a Fire Truck to burn cane
• Carting Staff
• Basic mechanical work on farm equipment
• Stock taking and ordering
• Diesel capturing and monitoring
