Catandica Area, Manica Province – Mozambique: Our client is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and honest Farm Manager – Avocado & Litchi to join the team.
Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Agricultural Diploma/Degree advantageous
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in previous avocado or litchi or fruit farm management
- Must have Orchard experience
- Computer literate
- Must be well-organised with great leadership qualities
- Strong communication skills
- Maintenance orientated
- Valid passport
- Valid drivers license
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Staff and Wages
Roll call daily and entered in timebook.
Staff Wage Payments Monthly - General Farm Management
Fertilizer and Chemical applications, ordering and records.
Irrigation and maintenance of.
Sourcing and records of all stocks.
Management of all employees.
Repairs & Maintenance of roads, water, fences, and buildings.
Delivery and collections of spares and supplies.
Harvest and delivery of fruit. - Stocks
Fertilizers & chemicals stock sheets.
Livestock stock sheets.
Fuel records.
Cement & building records.
Workshop & tool inventory.
Rain records.
- Global Gap
To ensure the Farm operates within all the Global gap requirement guidelines.
To prepare and necessary documentation and implement all GG protocols on farm.
