Contract management involves overseeing the creation, negotiation, execution, and maintenance of contracts between parties, typically within a business or organizational setting. Responsible for the efficient, competitive and commercially viable operation
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Degree or Diploma in Agriculture / Engineering or a relevant Trade Test
- 5-7 years’ experience in an Agricultural industry with experience in a Sugar Cane operation
- Experience with cane haulage, loading and land preparation
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance / workshop management
- General knowledge of the operations and configurations of mechanical vehicles
- Knowledge of budgeting
- Knowledge of Company Disciplinary and Grievance procedures
- Knowledge of recruitment and disciplinary procedures
- Relevant written and verbal contracts / service level agreements
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Effective management of the cane haulage, loading and land preparation operations
- Develop and maintain procedures which relate to day-to-day operational requirements
- Vehicle downtime is monitored, controlled and kept to a minimum
- Identify, implement and maintain site/ depot specific requirements as per legislation, policy and customer requirements
- Effective customer relationship management
- Complete and submit financial reports, budgets and costing as required
- Monitoring and measuring management of financial and administration requirements
- Report weekly on projects contract revenue, kilometres and profits
- Safety management
