GENERAL MANAGER PRODUCTION – FM1981

Luanshya Area – Zambia: Our client is looking for a General Manager Production to join the team.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Agricultural Diploma/Degree advantage if specialising in poultry & poultry production
Adminitrative, management, poultry husbandry and poultry mechanical skills a must
Leadership of work-force focusing on delivery of KPI’s with attention to detail
Driven by costs controls, whilst ensuring effective and efficient operations
Commercial poultry health and bio-security knowledge
Experience in managing a similar commercial layer operation
Promote discipline and accountabilty with a focus on building a productive team
Computer literate, with reporting and data capturing ability
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position
Initative, energetic and entusiactic
Must have good referrences, quality personal habbits, and be able to work smart and hard

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Answerable directly to the Managing Director
Ability to report on Board level
Manage the Heads of Departments i.e. Rearing Manager, Production Manager, Farm Veterinarian, Packshed Manager, & Feed Mill Superintendants
Responsible for 600,000 commercial layers & 180,000 pullets
