FARM TRACTOR & TRUCK MECHANIC – FM1900

Tsitsikamma Area – Eastern Cape: Our client is looking for a Farm Tractor & Truck Mechanic to join the team.

This is a ‘LIVE OUT’ position, and the successful candidate will have to stay in either Jeffreys Bay, Humansdorp or Kareedouw area.

Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Qualified diesel mechanic and or trade test certificates advantageous
A suitable tertiary qualification in Agriculture advantageous
Min of 4 years previous farming experience
Previous tractor & truck fleet maintenance experience essential
Sound knowledge of Agricultural Equipment and on mechanical machinery operation and maintenance of all farm implements
Proven experience to manage all maintenance activities which includes typically the following: planning, Job Cards, time management, maintenance personnel management, client liaison, supply support of maintenance materials and other.
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Valid drivers license
