Swakopmund Area – Namibia: Our client is looking for a Marketing and Sales Representative to join the team.
Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the fresh produce or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of fresh produce and seasonal variations.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
- Proficiency in using sales software and Microsoft Office Suite.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Sales and Customer Relationships
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products.
- Negotiate sales contracts, suggest promotions, and close deals.
- Visit customers as often as possible to ensure customer satisfaction, discuss order quantities, packaging, and feedback to ensure repeat business.
- Distributing/communicating weekly price lists to customers.
- Internal Communication & Sales Administration
- Ongoing communication with the Packhouse team and Supply Chain
- Supervisor to manage stock availability to customers.
- Loading of sales orders, according to accurate to prices and inventory codes. – Accounting software.
- Processing of customer invoices according to orders delivered. – Accounting software.
- NAB related queries and communication.
- Market Development
- Identify new market opportunities and potential clients.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market reach.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
Product Knowledge and Promotion
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our product range and their benefits.
- Educate customers on product features, benefits, and availability.
- Participate in promotional activities, trade shows, and events to promote our products.
- Sales Reporting
- Track and report on sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends.
- Prepare and present sales reports to management.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets
