JUNIOR MACADAMIA MANAGER – FM1736

Eastern Province (about 85 Km from Lilongwe) of Zambia – Zambia: Our client is looking for a Junior Macadamia Manager to join the team.

This is a fixed term contract position.

Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Diploma in some form of agriculture issued from a tertiary education institution.
At least 4 years working experience on a COMMERCIAL estate.
Any experience on Macadamia a huge benefit.
Experience on Mango and bee keeping also big plusses.
Computer literate.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

To assist the Senior Macadamia Manager with all tasks, from plant husbandry to pest control to harvesting and pruning.
Taking DIRECT responsibility for the supervision of a SPECIFIC area of the estate (most probably about 200 to 250 Ha) and then assisting the Macadamia Senior Manager in the planning of activities on all the estate in conjunction with other junior macadamia manager
