MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Trade tested diesel mechanic or equivalent qualification
- At least 3 years’ experience as a qualified technician
- Thorough knowledge of Agricultural mechanics
- Solid background in mechanical electrics and basic understanding of construction
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- A “hands on” approach to mechanical maintenance and repair of all farm machinery, that includes,
- but not limited to tractors, combines, self-propelled sprayers, centre pivots, pumps and motors.
- Daily checks and continuous training of all operators,
- Daily record keeping and data input (Agri-Dynamics),
- Workshop consumables and machinery spares quotation sourcing
