MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Proven track record in designing, constructing, and managing large-scale, multi-million-dollar agricultural projects. Preferably in Sugarcane or similar.
- In-depth knowledge of agronomy, milling operations, and supply chain management.
- Experience with sustainability initiatives, by-product utilization, and energy-efficient practices.
- Strong financial acumen and expertise in investment and cost management.
- Demonstrated success in managing large teams and complex projects in challenging environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
Sugarcane Production and Agronomy
- Oversee all aspects of sugarcane agronomy, including irrigation system design, varietal selection, and yield optimization.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize cane quality and productivity.
- Ensure sustainability through innovative practices, such as carbon reduction initiatives and efficient water usage.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with operating in emerging markets, including climate variability, regulatory challenges, and infrastructure constraints.
Milling Operations
- Lead the design, commissioning, and maintenance of sugar milling operations.
- Optimize the production process to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage by-product utilization, such as bagasse and molasses, to improve profitability and sustainability.
Supply Chain Management
- Develop and manage integrated supply chains, from raw material sourcing to finished product logistics.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to markets.
Sustainability and Innovation
- Implement energy-efficient production practices to reduce environmental impact.
- Drive initiatives aimed at carbon footprint reduction and resource optimization.
- Identify and integrate scalable technologies to improve operational efficiency.
Strategic Leadership and Financial Management
- Provide C-level leadership in financial management, including cost control, revenue modeling, and securing investments.
- Navigate regulatory frameworks to ensure compliance and secure necessary certifications.
- Develop and manage financial models to optimize operational costs, assess investment returns, and support export market entry strategies.
- Develop strategies to mitigate risks, including weather-related challenges and market price volatility.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale agricultural project timelines from initial design to operational execution, including coordinating contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
Workforce and Operations Management
- Lead large-scale workforce operations, ensuring productivity and alignment with company goals.
- Cultivate a culture of excellence and safety across all levels of operations.
